Wow! Hard to believe that it has been a month and a week since I have blogged here. Most of our days fly by!
Evan went for his 6 month well child visit on the 12th. He is 17lbs 4oz and 26 inches long. He was right at the average mark for everything. He is really starting to show us his little personality. He can sit up on his own now and entertain himself for a pretty long period of time. He hasn't begun to crawl, but we are waiting for that to happen any day now!
Gary has been to Asia and back already. He returned just yesterday. Evan had to study him for a while but warmed up to him quickly. Evan had company from Maw and Paw, and Nana and Grandmother in the 2 1/2 weeks that Gary was gone. It was like I was on vacation too since I had lots of help with Evan.
We finally took him to get his 6 month picture made. At first he was not at all interested in smiling, but he finally warmed up toward the end of the portraits. Here is one of my favorite portraits.
