With a stack of international travel keeping the house shy one family member, we were remiss in sending Christmas greetings to everyone until we had a chance to catch up this weekend. After Evan dictated his greeting to us, K & G were busy addressing, stamping, licking, and mailing Christmas cards. We have been busy -- who hasn't -- making the holiday rounds and trying to get everything settled in time for the BIG DAY. Evan especially is looking forward to digging into the bows and wrapping paper beneath the tree. I'm not so sure he will be as interested in what is actually INSIDE the paper and bows, as in the paper itself!
The curse of being a hound: Smokie ALWAYS KNOWS when there is a present under the tree for him, no matter how supposedly airtight the wrapping job. He has marked the spot of HIS GIFT and keeps a good eye on it day and night. Can't risk having an eight-month old get his Christmas bone, you know...

Hey K, G & E,
The letter was great, the photo even better. Can't believe E is 8 mos already....boy, time goes to fast. I can't believe we moved from next door 2 1/2 yrs ago. Smokie is still missed a lot! How's that cat? MH still wants to come get her??!!
We hope to get up to see you but our travels have been taking care of ailing parents and other family members.
Have a wonderful holiday....I have lots of goodies for E!
Hugs to G, E, S & B, you too K!!!!

That's my cutie pie and sweet Smokie!
Merry Christmas, ALL!
Love the new things going on in your lives. Miss seeing you during the holidays. Evan and Smokie were meant to be brothers. Look how cute they are together. Can't wait to hear about Evan's 1st Christmas.
